Who should do a "detox"?

Question: Your information on "detoxing" is very interesting and thought-provoking, thank you.

What is not clear, though, is exactly WHO needs to do a detox and when.

Please can you give some guidance?

Answer: Many thanks for your question Martin.

The simple answer is that, if you have never done a Detox before, then NOW is the time!

We live in a World where the number of Harmful Chemicals we have to confron every day is increasing at an alarming rate. Many of these chemicals did not exist 100 years ago, or even 50 years ago, and their long-term effects on health are therefore completely unknown (and usually entirely ignored by their manufacturers).

As such chemical nasties can last in the body for many years, it is therefore important to remove as many of them as possible, as completely as possible, at the earliest opportunity.

There are many different types of detox out there, some more specialised than others and all requiring a different degree of effort, however, you will undoubtedly be thankful of any you perform properly - the effects on health are simply THAT noticeable.

For those that have never done a detox before, it is probably best to start with a whole body cleanse, which will target the main organs and remove much of the junk stored up there. After that, there are more specialised detoxes that can be used to remove specific toxins and which are somewhat more specialised.

Give it a go, you will be glad you did :-)
